young lead/rhythm guitarist looking for a heavy rock band (Newcastle upon tyne)

After recently departing from a light rock band (1 year running), I am looking for a heavy rock band based in the north east, Experienced in performing live venues such as the O2 academy stage 1+2, and the space bar in Newcastle college as well as several club gigs, also experienced in the studio having recorded an EP with my previous band. Main influences include Jimi Hendrix, Deep purple, whitesnake, rush, metallica, megadeth and several other metal and classic heavy rock artists.
