Hi there, I am a singer/songwriter looking for a LIVE SYNTHS PLAYER / BASS PLAYER for my band. The set up of my band consists of a guitarist, drummer, and me - lead Vocalist . Working with my band, I have written an array of songs that are now ready for recording. This will take place in early February 2013.
The idea behind this project is huge, and I want to get the ball rolling ASAP; recording session to take place during Feb, gigs from mid-March onwards, EP ready for early Summer, then a UK tour of 10 – 15 dates just before two showcase gigs in Amsterdam - to promote the EP. I am London based, but will be supporting a Dutch artist on two dates during their tour.
When it comes to music writing, I have a very big imagination - I don’t settle for the ‘that will do’ approach, so I therefore need a highly committed and creative Synths Player who is good with improvisation, has a good ear, good with constructive composition, experimental sounds, understands odd-time signatures and, someone who has perfected their craft as a Synths Player. If you are a Synths Player and Bass player – then this would be a MASSIVE bonus. If you're only a Synths player - still please do get in touch.
My music is best described as, Electronic / Alternative / Melodic / Pop / Heavy use of Synths; think –
Little Dragon, M83, New Navy, The Naked and Famous, MGMT / Oh Land / Wild Nothing / School of Seven Bells
Before deciding to work on my own music and project, I fronted a successful underground band, so I have accumulated a good following and I have made tremendous amounts of contacts within the music industry. From singing backing vocals for an array of successful music artists and being a support act for musicians like Ed Sheeran, Corinne Bailey Rae, Labrinth, Mr Hudson and Jamie Woon to name a few, I am confident in the music I want to create.
If you think you suit the type of music and style I've described, please get in touch with me immediately with a demo and some information about yourself.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Cheers
