Hey guys!

I am currently wanted to form a new band in the Telford area and looking for ALL new members to come forward.

The Band: A progressive rock / experimental style with ambient leads and hard, driving grooves. Off Beat/Odd Time/Progressive/Experimental/Ambient/Groove/Chill out.

What the band needs: 2 x guitarists 1 x Bassist 1 x Drummer.

About you: You will ideally need to be experienced on your chosen instrument... However this is not essential as we will write from scratch but you must at least be able to play in tune/time and read tabs.

Drummers: You must be able to play, or be confident enough to learn Off Beat / Progressive / Jazz time signatures such as 7/8 6/4 7/4 and of course your straight up 4/4 and 16 rock beats Very Happy

Everybody must have their own equipment and be able to attend rehearsals / writing sessions at least once a week.

About me: I am a male in my mid 20's... have experience of being in a band and writing / recording... My main inspirations have to be bands like Karnivool, COG, TOOL, Porcupine Tree, Opeth but not limited to. I play some guitar, I wouldn't say I was advanced but I get by. I like to write guitar riffs and songs in a very off beat / ambient style Smile

THIS IS NOT A METAL/DJENT PROJECT!

This project will not be a thrash metal, hardcore, metalcore or djent band... I am not a screamo singer and there will be no "Shredding" lol.

So if you are looking for that, I'm afraid this is not the band for you Sad

If there is anybody out there who likes the sound of this then please get in touch... give me some of your details, what you play, how long, what bands you like.. and any demo tracks you have!

If you would like a taste of the style I had in mind, then there is a song that has quite a similar vibe.. and it's called Simple Boy by KARNIVOOL (Youtube).

So if you like, we will have a meet up... a drink, some banter and then arrange a jam session if everybody is happy to go ahead.

we are a prog rock band we need a vocalist based in Wolverhampton but our drummer lives in telford

we are guitar keyboards bass and drums out fit ,,but need a good front man with words to ours and his music ,gigs booked and recording lined up asap ...dave B
