Singer wanted for 80's rock cover/tribute!! LOOK! (Gillingham, Mere, Yeovil, Shaftesbury, henstridge)

Hey all,

We're Aftershock, an 80's rock/classic metal covers band, we have a full line up (Drums, Bass & Guitar) minus a singer & we're looking for someone to fill that role, complete the band & rock the hell out with! (Must have own P.A.)

We currently practice on wednesday evenings at FIFEHEAD MAGDALEN VILLAGE HALL, just outside gillingham.

We're all very technically able musicians & have pro-level gear, we have over an hours worth of material down already. We've all been in previous bands but have formed Aftershock to pay tribute to the rock that first inspired us to pick up and instrument & rock out. The aim of this band is to play the most rocking music we can manage, wether thats in the form of a classic or something over-the-top enough to impress any crowd. This is a full on rock band, as much as it can be, we dont really wana get slowing down n playing ballads.. also its no good being a fan of great bands but picking out their most obscure 10 minute songs no ones ever herd of to play! We'll be gigging around 3 +/- times a month & there will probably be drinking involed .

The kinda music we play... Whitesnake, Ozzy, Iron Maiden, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Metallica, Poison, Motley crue, scorpions, Guns n Roses, Judas Priest, Tesla, Twisted Sister, Extreme, Skid Row, Cinderella, Black Sabbth, Dio.. all that kinda stuff.

Anyway, we're all normal, no egos, no temper tantrums.. ever. The most important thing is that your really passionate about the kinda music we're gonna be playing & can hold a note, we definatly dont expect perfection! Also, as a frontman (or woman) confidence onstage to some degree is another key ingredient, you will have to be able to interact with the crowd.. but the rest of the band can chip in too.
