BAND THAT HAS BEEN GIGGING TOGETHER FOR 3 YEARS NEED A NEW SINGER!
Alright guys, we're Joel (18 ), Ed (17) and Loz (17). We've been playing together for 3 years now under the name Forever & A Day but unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances our singer left the band therefore we are looking for a new awesome singer!
We play pop rocky music predominantly and write our own songs. However we write very versatile music and therefore we have some songs that are rockier/ metally and also some slower songs that are a lot more melodic. If we are asked to do covers of songs we usually play covers of bands like Sum 41, The Script, 30 Seconds to Mars and Fountains Of Wayne.
Joel has acheived merits in all guitar grades up to grade 7, Ed has acheived a distinction in grade 6 and Loz has been playing drums for 8 years and is a very high standard drummer. We're all very tight together not only musically but also as friends so therefore we are looking for someone who is a laugh to be around as well as being a great vocalist.
We have contacts in the Manchester gigging scene and have played with bands such as De'Nova, That Sunday Feeling and Your Illuminations at venues such as Dry Bar, Retro Bar and the Club Academy. We also have some contacts with the BBC. We have played on the radio a few times with organisations such as Silk FM and Imagine FM.
Currently we live in Wilmslow, Salford, Macclesfield and near leek so must be able to travel. However we can always help out with lifts if this is an issue.
THING'S WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Singer between the age of 16- 20
- Someone confident who's willing to have fun on stage and move around
- Someone who writes songs and has a passion for performing
- Must have a strong voice that suits rock music
- Someone who's a good laugh!
- MUST be reliable.
EVEN BETTER IF:
- Would be good if you could play an instrument to a decent standard to add to the sound.
- Weekends are usually when we practice so being free at some point on a weekend.

Here's a link to our music with our old singer. The old band currently have 1,355 twitter followers and a few hundred facebook fans. With a new singer though we may choose to take a slightly different direction as we are extremely versatile.
