Pop punk cover band - In need of everything essex Upminster southend Romford Hornchurch basildon grays

Alex here age 26, I play guitar and like to sing. I've played guitar for around 10 years, but I've been off circuit for a while, I have qualifications in music performance and have intermediate ability and have equipment to practice and gig. I like punk bands from the cheesiest to the best, and I love to cover songs in a punk way. I'd love to play songs from green day, blink 182, simple plan, new found glory etc

Looking to form a pop punk band, (apply if you're a drummer, bassist, guitarist or singer) generally to focus on covers and if you want to create originals in the future I am not opposed but I won't be the driving creative force. I would ideally like to play rhythm guitar and sing if possible. But if anyone comes along and is clearly better then I'll stand aside and jump on lead guitar or bass or drums.

Age is not an issue with me, just some basic ability to be able to play and attend a regular weekly practice. My hope is to play covers and master to the best possible degree, and then in the not too distant future play gigs

Places to practice in Essex that are generally more affordable are more accessible by car, I drive so this isn't an issue for myself. Also, I am working full time 9-5 Monday - Friday so be aware that practices will need to be on evenings or weekends on my part.

Would love to get things rolling from the 17th September this month onwards, mainly looking to have fun playing music, no egos, no hassle, no pressure, just fun playing our favourite songs.
