(Castlerock)

I've just relocated from New York to Castlerock, NI. I've had numerous successful bands in the US located in NYC that toured the east coast regularly. I'm interested in putting together three projects all of which will record albums and tour - starting with Ireland, but extending to the UK, Europe and potentially the US.
Project 1:
Jazz. Bill Frisell meets '70's fusion and '60's psychedelia, but with a lot more emphasis on standards as well [Clifford Brown, Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis, etc.]. I would like a core of a quartet - myself, a pianist, bassist and drummer. For larger gigs adding horns and violin. I already have a basic setlist in mind and several originals nearing readiness. Initial targets for gigs would be the jazz scene in Derry and Crusoe's in Castlerock [and wherever people might recommend - I'm new to the scene and need guidance].
Project 2:
Folk. This would encompass folk traditions of Ireland, UK and US. Bluegrass, fingerpicking, blues, etc. This will be a mixture of some 40 originals in this style along with a healthy dose of traditional tunes. I would like a core of upright bass, percussion/drums and a female vocalist. Would also love to augment with fiddle, banjo and mandolin. Keys are also a possibility. Targets for this project are places like Bushmills and other venues that would provide regular paying gigs.
Project 3:
I don't know the rock scene at all here. I play it all and would prefer something that tends toward R&B, groove, jam, etc. But I also write a lot of great guitar oriented indie rock. From the used car dealer I was talking to yesterday, I understand that there might be a bit of an R&B scene in Belfast. Anyhow - musicians for this project would depend on what it becomes. Obviously bass and drums are crucial. I'd prefer a female singer. Beyond that?
About me:
24 year veteran of the NYC music scene. I've played it all. I'm also an engineer and used to own a professional studio. I still have all the gear and do all of my own engineering - so recording is never a problem. I have about 20 albums floating about the internet ether and countless hours of live Youtube video. My most recent and still active projects are The Sometime Boys and Wounded Buffalo Theory - though neither is exactly what I'm looking to start with these projects.

I also just released a lullaby album for my daughter which is getting great press:

Please be a professional and please have links you can send me of your live performances or studio recordings. While the general direction of these projects would be based on my vision for each one, I am very open to collaborative writing [which will always be credited and properly apportioned for royalty purposes] and as I am new to the scene here and don't know the ropes, I will certainly take any advice on strategy, venues, etc. from band mates.
Looking forward to finding people with which to make some great music here!
