Hi, I'm a 31 year old rhythm/lead guitarist, been playing since I was 16 had 3 years band experience playing gigs in Liverpool city centre a few out of town gigs.
Ive been out of my previous band for 2 years now and I'm looking on joining a new band, but I like to take a different approach this time, I'd like to experiment more with different sounds eg; keyboard synth sounds, saxophone sounds, ambient sounds...even heavy songs etc lots of varieties.
With experience from my old band, I'd like to suggest/do things differently such as, not rushing a song just to get it out, I'd rather work on whole song properly to get it as catchy and awesome as possible, that's what you'll be remembered for more, catchy songs and guitar riffs...gains you a true audience who actually want to know where your playing next and follow you...something that looks different aswell.
I have a open mind on genre's, I listen to a wide range, but as a personal reference my main genre is classic rock/ 70's/80's Rock, ballad hair metal bands...examples are,
Acdc, Bryan Adams, jon bon Jovi, pink Floyd, Europe, dire straits, Def leppard, firehouse, helix, the Beatles, marrillion, guns n roses, steel panther, Nickelback, steve Vai, yngwie malmsteen, iron maiden, scorpions, Dio, w.a.s.p, Savatage, Queen, van halen..your classic rock and some not much known bands such as;
Cinderella, frontline, garrison, steelheart, signal, Brighton rock, danger danger, honeymoon suite, msg, tour de force, fair warning, ...
Hoping to provide guitar rhythem/lead parts hopefully with a second guitarist.
Awesome singer/song writer and performer.
Drummer, bassist and second guitarist.
I do have demos of songs from my previous band but I don't want to work on them yet as I want a new start. So if you have anything to work on I'd be happy to see how it goes, and maybe we could work on my previous ones then. I'd like to hear from you even if your in the process of finding a full band. if you think it'd be right for you please just send me a private message,
thanks, j.
