Moving to Colchester and want to form an electro/punk band. (Colchester)

Hi.

My name is Jonathan Marriott. I love so much music, but for me the Sex Pistols are the best band that have ever existed. Closely followed by The Streets, Plan B (latest album), Jamie T, Frank Turner, X-Ray Spex and Nick Cave.

I have much gigging experience including playing in America and Europe to crowds of up to 3000 on bass for the Sex Pistols Experience (http://www.sexpistolsexperience.co.uk/start.htm), headlining a stage at the Hard Rock Hell festival as part of an electro punk band (Tolerance), playing alongside acts like Cradle of Filth and Twisted Sister, touring with various punk outfits and supporting acts such as Stiff Little Fingers and recently playing as a solo acoustic artist (www.jdmmusic.net).

I'm moving to Colchester in January and am looking to form something pretty big. Kind of like the Prodigy meets Rage meets Rancid- A really exciting, sweaty sound with huge choruses.

I would like to frontman this and believe very much in intense showmanship.

I enjoy good lyrics and will be writing a lot, but would also love the input of others for hooks/synth parts/drums etc.

Good equipment and playing ability essential. No egos please!
