The recently launched Elite Recordings record label is constantly looking for quality music to release onto the global music buying market. We offer a great package which includes the following:
Free subscription
Free release on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Google Play and more
60% of royalties to the artist, 40% to the label (after distributor fees)
No binding contract (we sign a declaration to pay your percentage)
You keep all the rights to your tracks, we're not interested in those kinds of practices. As a label, we're trying to make a positive difference to the quality of new music available to the music buying public.
To submit your original music, please provide us with a link to the original tracks you'd like to release.
Later on, if we like your music, we'll need to listen to your tracks in either of the following formats:
.wav (16 or 24 bit 44100 hz)
.ogg
.flac
(We review new tracks to determine whether their quality is high enough to release to the general public).
IMPORTANT:
PLEASE GIVE US YOUR NAME.
Good luck. We're sorry if we don't respond, it's usually that the music isn't of high enough recording quality for the label.
We accept all genres, although if it sounds like it's aimed at twelve year olds, like a lot of current chart music seems to be, we're not interested. In fact, that's one of the reasons why we set up the label - to help change that trend and give people a better choice. If you're twelve - sorry, no offence intended.
One word about potential track sales and artists expectations:
Just because your music is available on iTunes, Amazon or whatever, that doesn't mean people will buy it - they have to find it first. A good, street-wise recording artist should ideally have the following things set up in order to promote their releases:
A website where people can find out about them and their music
A thriving social media presence, where they should frequently post information and links to their releases
Any other online avenues available to them, like a Youtube channel for instance
Thank you very much for your time, we look forward to hearing from you. We already have some great artists and would love more.
All the best,
Lee
