Rebel without a clue

Hi,
I’m looking for likeminded souls to form/join forces with. This is a project that just won't lay still, so has made the bucket list:
Straight to the point: I'm not interested in playing the pubs & clubs circuit, I've done that.
I'm looking for people that want to gig within a specific genre; it can be country; folk or 50s/60s. I've never sang blues but I'm open minded. I love all good music. Specific music for an audience that appreciate the style of music being played is the objective.
A little background info:
I woke up one morning and was 50 (I know!!) and still had that gnawing urge to get the larynx warbling , especially when I see a good band.
I’m an (acoustic) guitar vocalist; I’ve been in bands on and off since the age of 17 but I’m a little rusty as my last proper band was ten years ago: 50’s Rock ‘n’Roll.
The other styles I’ve played over the years range from punk; MOR, Folk to country.
For the last 8 years , I’ve been travelling nationwide treading the boards and teaching drama as one of those luvvie actor type’s so I’m no stranger to the stage.
I’d had enough of being away so have settled into the mundane normal job; hence the NEED for creative stuff!
On occasion (2 or 3 times a month) I meet up with a couple of guys to play music with; it’s all recording so no gigging. Live music is what i’m looking for.
The country style is excellent as it suits my vocal style ( Glen Frey, Denver, Haggard, David Gates etc.. and have sung a few Vince Gill numbers in the past )
I’m very interested in sharing vocals because I like the variety; happy to gig as much as possible, with people around my age (give or take a 100 yrs either side)
I do take a professional approach but the emphasis is on fun ; I’ve got a regular job to keep me miserable, thank you very much.
As for the gear: I’ve only my guitar these days: I’m waiting for the right band before investing in the equipment again. I work long hours ( silly time hours) but if the right people came along, I’ve no qualms about changing jobs if it becomes an ongoing project.
Anyway, thought I’d cast the net. If this sounds like your thing ponder over it & If so, we can chat in detail; if not, no worries.
Thanks.
All the best for the future
Kelvin.
