Let's be clear. This is a startup project. But one with dedicated and very experienced musicians of a very high level. Some work is required before the cash comes in so if you're looking for a fast jump in and make a few quid. . . . Move on.
Drums, Bass and Guitar already in place. Male and/or Female vocalist required. Must be high quality with performance experience. All current members have been touring for decades and very experienced with sound and live performance. Gender is not important, although you may be in a position where we would expect you to work with other singers. This is more for bookings and versatility.
Ages from 23 - 35 is ideal but would consider outside this for the right sound!
If you would like to get in touch, please provide links to your work, if this is a facebook page that is fine but it must included audio or footage of your work.
The aim here is to provide high quality entertainment for paying clients, no hobbyists, karaoke wannabes or part timers.
Please list your gear on application. You will be expected to fund at least your own quality microphone of equivalence to an SM58 "beta" or more preferably Audix OM7. If you have more to offer on this then that is great.
Pay will be discussed when bookings are arranged. We will expect usual Wedding/function fee. With pub gigs in the low season just to keep the cogs turning and drum up new business for next season.
The current members will be working on a repertoire whilst we wait to audition candidates. Thinking along the lines of Masterblaster and Sir Duke by Stevie Wonder, Shake a Tail feather - Ray Charles. I can update candidates with an audition repertoire soon.
Egos/divas will find themselves swiftly ejected from the business without hesitation. This is a tough enough job as it is and harmony and respect is key. As is reliability.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to return to performing and wanting to make money by providing a high quality service.
Any questions please ask.
