Cherry Red are north herts newest and best function/covers band. We're now looking for a second female (or exceptionally good male)singer to share some lead vocals and provide backing and harmonies on some classic motown, soul and disco tracks. Plenty of gigs booked stretching into next year already and aiming to have filled to position by end of august so we can hit the ground running after all the holidays etc.

Sense of humour a must and a love of music over money are important for anyone coming in as we have a great laugh both at rehearsals and gigs and are content with modest fee's until we get a tight, settled line up and move onto wedding fairs etc.

Also must be able to rehearse in luton on thursday nights!

HI!!
I'm very very interested in meeting up for a chat about your band. I've just been singing with a covers band for the last few months whilst my friend who was the singer went off on maternity leave but now she's back and I'm just the understudy again - her boyfs in the band, so I didn't get much of a choice!!

I'm based in st.albans so luton not a prob to get to. I'm a strong vocalist, been singing stuff like Bon Jovi/Queen/Prince/Pink/Duffy/Patti LaBelle/Janis Joplin/Aretha with the band, so I'm plenty flexible on the vocals...

I've only just joined this site so will update all my details but been singing and performing for the last 10 yrs, teach singing and work with kids when I'm not performing myself. Play a teeny bit of keys and guitar (teeny teeny!) but I'm pretty hot on vocal arrangements/harmonies....etc!
