Hidden-Agenda
(Reading \ Maidenhead)

Hidden Agenda are an established 7 piece soul \ disco covers band who have been playing together for just over three years. We have established a reputation for playing energetic sets leaning more to the funk \ disco to ensure the dance floor is always full, The line-up includes two female vocalists who take an equal share of the lead and backing. Sadly, Hannah is leaving us in September as she is taking up studies that will absorb too much of her time to allow her to concentrate on the band.
The band is now well established having sold out our last three shows at Jagz in Ascot and with a busy enough diary that is a blend of clubs, functions, weddings and festivals. I say busy enough because the plan has never been to be out playing every weekend but instead to play once or twice a month to allow a sensible balance with family commitments. We meet once a month in Maidenhead to rehearse and work up new material.
To add some extra excitement we are also close to confirming a headlining slot at the Hammersmith Apollo playing with 4 other bands… this is a bit of long story but a very exciting chapter for the band.
We are now looking for a replacement for Hannah and will work over the next few months to audition and bring up to speed a replacement who can work with us to take the band forward.
It is worth mentioning that we do not do this for the money…. We clearly get paid but this is a bonus, not the driving force and this approach has worked well in seeing us play such events as the Gosport Waterfront Festival last year in front of 2,500 people.
Take a look at www.hidden-agenda.info for more details.
So, if you have the necessary vocal and performance capability and want to join us to help us drive the band forward please get in touch.
Cheers
Ian
