I'm 16, going on to sixth form so i couldn't exactly go on a massive tour or anything, but I figured I may as well throw it out there to anyone in the stafford-birmingham area I'd be interested in a post-hardcore band, especially one similiar to Enter Shikari with a blend of electronic music.
I've been playing guitar for a month or so over a year, which doesn't sound much but apparently I'm pretty decent. I've managed to write a dozen or so guitar-only tunes so far, which I've seen people enjoy (I'm creative at least lol) and my ability is such that at the moment the best tunes I can play are 'No one loves me and neither do I' by Them Crooked Vultures and 'Sad Statue' by System of a Down, to give you an idea of where I am in terms of ability.
My music taste is massive, I listen to mainly rock and and electronic music, with a lot of everything else, although I don't listen to the other stuff as much. My favorite artists are System of a Down, Enter Shikari, Hot Chip, Rise Against, Serj Tankian, Calvin Harris, Scars on Broadway, Paramore, Pendulum, Jimi Hendrix, Faithless, Alexisonfire and Biffy Clyro. It should be noted what I end up writing is often quite heavy, and I'd definately prefer the act to have a decent meaning to it, similarly to Rage Against the Machine, System of a Down and Rise Against.
If you want to see my music or check out my last.fm page just send me a message
And finally my gear at the moment is a Dean Soltero Standard, Korean model but my god it's amazing, a Yamaha F310 acoustic, a Korg AX3000G multi-fx pedal, an old and battered 'Poker' amp which was handed down to me and a much better, much louder, Roland Cube 80x.

Hi, I'm a 17 year old keyboardist
I wouldn't mind playing in a post-hardcore band, but I'd like to bring some metalcore into it. I've been playing keyboard now for about 6 years, but I've never played in a band before, and don't really have much of a clue on how good my equipment is. I've played around with a few ideas for songs, but haven't written any proper ones yet. Message me back if you're interested ![]()

Hi, I'm 16 and I play guitar, but can be used for bass, and would be good as rhythm. I like all kinds of music, especially stuff that has a heavier edge to it. I live in Burntwood, but don't mind travelling. I don't have the best of equipment at the moment, but I'm getting an Ibanez sas36fm for short-term use. I have played in a band before and have done three gigs, so I only have minimal live experience, but it would be good to join another band. Where can I see your music?
