I’m Ryan, 25, I graduated from music course in summer and I’m forming a pop punk band. I’d be happy to join an existing band too.
I’ve noticed more British pop punk bands emerging lately and I want to join in. The idea is to be a band that is undeniably pop punk but that separates itself from the typical American pop punk sound. It’s pretty wide open to your interpretation.
I’ve been playing drums for about ten years, I’ve been in bands for five and have been gigging for three. I have played lots of gigs and have experience with recording in studios as well as with my own equipment at home.
My only downside is I can’t drive but I’m starting lessons soon. I have my own gig-ready kit and gear as well as top notch recording gear so I could track drums for us if needed.
Here’s a recent video of me playing/showing off my pimped out kit:

I write pop punk-ish songs and I’m very much open to sharing songwriting duties. I have some midi demos I knocked together in Logic. They should give a rough idea of the sort of music I’m into making:

I’m serious about the music but you’ll never get me to pose like a Ben Sherman model for a band photo; I’d much rather be pulling faces and being daft.
Gender isn’t important but we’ll probably get on better if we’re a similar age. Hopefully you’re all about confident stage presence, putting on a good show and interacting with and involving the audience as much as possible.
If you’re passionate about punk then let’s talk bands! Bonus points if you have some ideas of your own.
