Hi all,
Court House Five has reformed. We are a covers band that have in the past played all manner of genre's of music ranging from pop punk, pop, blues, classic rock and heavy rock, gigging all around the south coast, Winchester and further north towards London.
Songs on our setlist in the past have included songs from Bon Jovi, Fleetwood Mac, Cardigans, Blondie, Young The Giant, Bryan Adams, Billy Idol, Proclaimers, Bowie, K T Tunstall, Peter Gabriel, Muse, Foo Fighters, Snow Patrol, Pretenders, and so on...
We have a new singer on board so we are working out what the setlist will be that suits his voice (previously we had a female singer) but we require a drummer to complete the line-up.
We have recently had our first band meet and have the following on our setlist (growing all the time):
1) Green Day - Basket Case
2) Green Day - Boulevard of Broken Dreams
3) Green Day - American Idiot
4) Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars
5) Snow Patrol - You're All I Have
6) Blink-182 - All the Small Things
7) Amy McDonald - Mr Rock & roll
8 Ramones - Blitzkrieg Bop
9) Jimmy Eat World - The Middle
10) Kaiser Chiefs - I Predict A Riot
11) Pink Floyd - Another Brick in the Wall
12) Radiohead - Creep
With plenty more to add to this as we go along, including:
Strokes - Last Night
Buck Rogers - Feeder
Paradise City - Guns 'n Roses
Prince Charming - Adam Ant
Crash - Primitives
Chelsea Dagger - Fratellis
You get the idea
Age is not important, neither is gender. I myself (female) have been the drummer for the band, twice. Most of band members are mid 40's plus.
You will be committed to the band (not be in twenty other ones), have your own kit and own transport, and be available for rehearsals once a week.
We are all from various parts of Southampton but happy with drummer from close to Soton and the surrounding towns and cities.
With the drummer in place we will become a five piece once again (singer, 2x guitarists, bassist, and drummer).
If this sounds like it could be you we would like to hear from you.
Check out our website (being finalised) at www.courthousefive.com. Facebook page of the same name.
Thanks for looking,
