I'm a 30 year old crappy Guitarist with a broken Guitar who is unhappy with letting opportunities pass him by. Seeking other Crappy Musicians for a Jam session or two. Lead Guitar would be a good start as long as you can hit 2 out of 5 notes in key and in tempo, a Bassist that can at least name his strings would be welcome, and a drummer who can tell a tom from a kick is essential. Age isn't really an issue, although I'm way past the immature rubbish, and don't have any time for people with bad attitudes or confrontational leanings...
All Jokes aside, I'm actually semi-serious I let lots of opportunities pass me by thanks to life throwing me curve balls and the universe cursing me with Introversion, but I just got on with it and here I am. I'm not looking for anything serious, just a few jams, some beers and a laugh. I've no delusions of grandeur when it comes to success or the future, but I would like to write original music with a full band, rather than by myself. I've been playing since I was 20, but put it down in mid 2014 after a personal tragedy and only picked it back up again in march. I see myself as a rhythm guitarist, I've never been able to play all of that lead stuff thanks to damaging my hands as a teenager, but I can play in time and I do have some past experience jamming with others. Like I said, I am an Introvert and semi-serious, so don't be annoyed if I don't reply right away (assuming anyone will), I'll just be working up the courage to message you back.
I love a wide variety of music, but my all-time favorites are: Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Mud Honey, Metallica, Pantera, Korn, Seether, Puddle of Mudd, Staind, H.I.M, Escape the Fate (original line up), Garbage, Muse, Oomph, Arctic Monkeys, Avenged Sevenfold, Manic Street Preachers, Queens of the Stone Age, Blink 182, Kings of Leon...So on and so fourth lol. That doesn't mean I can play like them mind you, I'm still cracking the rust off and re-learning all the Nirvana and MSP riffs I used to know I'm very DIY in my approach, I play things differently, often using only two of the notes in chords which I personally think gives them a cooler sound, even if I do it out of necessity.
So, if you're a crappy musician like me, and even better if you're an introvert like me, get in touch and we can Eventually meet up for crappy jams and awkward laughs...
My guitar is broken and I sold all my gear to pay the rent last year, so you'll need to bring some
Also, I have nowhere to jam as I live in a sh*tty little flat with my brother, so we'll need to work that out somehow...
