Canny behind the kit or mic? (Newcastle/Gateshead/Sunderland)

Hello there.

We are forming a new band in 2013 and need 2 more members before we're complete. At the moment we have 2 guitarists and a bassist. We need a drummer and vocalist. If your wanting to hit practice rooms for a couple of weeks and gig, this band isn't for you. We spend a lot of time at each others houses writing and then take it to the practice room to bring it to life. We'd like to find a new friends as well as a band members. We're easy to get along with and just love music. Style of music isn't odd, but its hard to put into a genre. If you had to put it into words it would be melodic,hard rock, ballad's. We're not into constant screaming, but that is sometimes an element. So if your not closed minded when it comes to music, you might like this In short, we are not rushing anything at all. we dont want to hit the music scene with 5 songs that are the same key, time signature same style etc. Wouldnt you prefer to here different fresh stuff everytime you went to see a band? We're fully commited, hence the lengthy post i suppose. This has been a project that has been worked on for years but we've never been able to find a drummer or vocalist.

Drummer. Anyone who sort of fits the above really. If you could do double bass is would be and advantages, becuase sometimes we hit the metal genre and get some heavy riffs out your own gear isnt essential yet to be honest, own breakables is probably fine. Like this whole post is about, we're relaxed and dont push anything becuase thats when things go wrong. If a song takes 6 months to write, and doesnt work sometimes and needs work everytime its played until its perfect. So be it!

Vocalist. Just a bit of confidence in their ability. Someone who's a bit of a front man, but not up themselves. Someone who would like to come to a writing session and not play an instrument, but actually have some input as to what sounds good. Someone who can write lyrics. Someone who can take a bit of advice if somethings not working well without going in a huff.
