Bassist wanting to start/join hard rocking band. (Leicester)

I'm looking to set up, or join a loud, fast, hardcore, punk or metal band. Purely for fun, but serious about putting on a good show.

Leicester city centre based, and not looking for super-stardom. No egos, just a laugh. More interested in gigging/writing/practicing with sociable people.

Favourite bands (but I'm open to anything) - Sick of it All, Slumlords, Kill Your Idols, Wisdom in Chains, Black Flag, Poison Idea, Motorhead, Black Sabbath, Anthrax, Judas Priest, Machine Head, Sepultura, Fear Factory, ACDC, ZZTop, Rose Tattoo, Dr Feelgood.

Recently played in a Stooges/Wildhearts style band ( www.thedoojimen.bandcamp.com ). I'll give it a go, if it appeals to me.

Own equipment and transport.
