**PLEASE READ THIS ADVERT IN FULL, I AM NOT INTERESTED IN CUT AND PASTE MAILSHOTS**
Hello everyone.
My name is Rob, 27 and I am a bass player.
I have good equipment, skill and a decent work work ethic.
I am specifically looking for an inventive, exciting band, I have many influences ranging from A Wilhelm Scream, Nothings Carved in Stone, Strike Anywhere, Rise Against, Third Eye blind, Sister Sledge, Chic, VItal Remains, Quo Vadis and Opeth.
I am not interested in two/three chord wonder bands. I am looking for DYNAMIC music, which means instruments playing loud AND quiet, sometimes guitars cut out, sometimes bass and drums cut out etc.
I would like to join a band where the bass has a clear role with the music (And not just lip service).

(IE: If I cant hear myself due to a loud guitarist who insists that turning up to 10 at all times because it is "my sound man", then there is no point in me being there. )
I refuse to be part of a backing band for a solo performer. I want to be in a band where I can contribute in songwriting. I will only consider bands who have a drummer(!) in place.
I am available most weekday nights and weekends. I would preferably like to practice in the center or south of London, though it is not a deal breaker.
If you would like to contact me to hear some samples of my playing just shoot me an email. Please contact me through here, I do NOT have Facebook.
I feel that some genuine original dialogue should exist between bands and possible auditionee's. If you can only be bothered to respond to this well fleshed out advert with a copy-paste/no content message then I am very sorry, but I find that pretty disrespectful and shows that you are not truly serious about finding the perfect person for your band!
Thanks for reading this ad, I promise you I am actually a really nice guy in real life, I promise you I do not have a big ego. I just hate my time being wasted, hence the somewhat demanding tone of this message
