We're a band. 25 - 30. Based around Limehouse / Holloway Road. Guitar. Bass. Drums. Laptops. Vocals. etc. Fun. Ambitious. Serious. Dedicated. etc.
We are looking for a new female singer (sorry guys).
We want someone who's committed. Someone who's up for (and would enjoy) rehearsing twice a week. Someone who's good at communicating in person and online (and can manage to send more than just one line emails). We already have a lot of songs worked out and pretty much all the lyrics figured out - so you'd need to be comfortable dealing with stuff that's already there but (saying that) we're also looking for someone who we can collaborate with - you know - like a proper band. Also we need someone who's ok trying out ideas and willing to experiment doing crazy musical things like putting electronics on their voice and stuff like that. If you like all music everywhere then that's real cool: but we're looking for someone a little more discerning who can help us create something with different time signatures (4/4 is so boring if it's all you use), interesting dynamics and fun with syncopation. So if you just like playing covers on a acoustic guitar then maybe we're not going to be right for each other and you should look elsewhere...
Oh - and (not to sound too picky or anything) but we want someone who can sing and play an instrument at the same time (preferably guitar or keys).

Sorry: but if you're already playing in other bands or you're a bit of a flake or all you want to go is "hang out, mess around and have a laugh" then (so you know) it's probably not going to work out.
