We are Redwire, a well established hard rock band based in Camden, London and we are looking for a good backing vocalist and rhythm guitarist to join us.
You will need to be a good singer who can suggest and add appropriate backing vocals to add thickness to our sound. You need to be able to pick up rhythm guitar parts quickly and suggest riffs and work with us to write new stuff. You also should have a good stage presence to fit in with our energetic performances.
Previous gigging experience is essential and we require a video of your performance style in a rock genre.
Most importantly, you need to be a good fit with us. We're like a family, and we're gonna spend a lot of time together as a band. We're fun and easy going, love to party, but also highly dedicated to what we do. We're very serious about the band and it is not a hobby.
You need to be available to rehearse regularly in London, as well as get to gigs in and around London and turn up for photoshoots and music videos, etc.
A little about us..
In the last 2 and a half years we have gigged constantly, done two UK tours, recorded an EP that achieved substantial radio airplay, put on the very successful Redrock Festival and landed a residency at The Dublin Castle, hosting the popular Redrock Jam every Tuesday night.
Next plans are a European tour, a second EP which we're about to record, a single with music video, and appearances at several summer festivals, including Breaking Bands Festival.
Up until now we've worked well as a 4-piece, with the lead singer also playing rhythm guitar. But with the desire to add backing vocals and free up our singer, we want to add a rhythm guitarist who can also sing.
