In this ad, I won't give alot away but looking to put together a tribute band with a difference.
Alot of the music will be pretty well known and from research will be of a unique idea.
Onboard so far is myself on vocals and acoustic guitar and a good friend of mine on drums. Both of us have gigged for a while and range in ages from 40-50.
We are looking for a a solid lead, rhythm and acoustic guitarist who would feel comfortable playing almost anything full on rock to more commercial stuff. Also a bass player and ideally a keys player who are just as flexible in what they would be up for playing. The last person we are looking for is someone who can sing genres of that from a pop princess to a rock chick, this person would hold a massive key to giving our potential audiences the complete package.
Age-wise looking for musicians between 30-50 and located ideally in and around the Wiltshire/Oxford areas but generally close to Swindon.
We already have a gig in the diary for a very special event in around 3 months time so that is something to look forward to working towards. We also have a place where we could rehearse but I'd like to get us all into a practise studio first.
The aim is to play some of the usual pubs and clubs and venture into particular venues where I'm pretty sure on certain occasions, are audiences will be pretty up for what we are all about.
I appreciate this is all kind of vague but if you are that unique kind of musician who is not set in their ways, you may find this a pretty cool experience to be a part of.
Thank you for your time, now it's over to you.
With kind regards, Robert
